In less than a week, we’ll be holding our second West Coast Conference on Work & Cancer, in California.
We are so excited to be returning to Los Angeles to share our information and resources in person with those in the area who need it.
Along with our amazing and dedicated content partner, Triage Cancer, we’re grateful for the opportunity to meet and interact with patients, survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers and employers — to hear their stories and answer their questions about the very real issues they encounter when cancer treatment/recovery impacts employment.
For many, these issues are ones they hadn’t thought about — until they were diagnosed and had to decide whether to tell their boss, or had to request time off for surgery, or had to explain a gap on their resume during a job interview. Thankfully, we can help.
Cancer and Careers’ ability to be on the ground in L.A., offering a free, daylong program featuring expert speakers, vital content, and free CEUs for qualified healthcare professionals wouldn’t be possible were it not for the generous support of our Regional Conference Sponsors — Genentech, QVC and Novartis Oncology — and our terrific Community Partners. Together, we are empowering and educating people with cancer to thrive in the workplace.
There’s still time to register for Saturday’s event, so we hope you’ll join us — and help us spread the word!
