Rowan Today - May 2024
Keri Cronin was in medical school when she was diagnoses with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She finished her second year of school using a wheelchair and studying for exams during chemo. The following year she took a leave to focus on treatment.
Cronin returned to school in 2022 saying, "It was difficult, being thrown head-first back in after being away from it." Last week, she graduated and plans to focus on oncology. "I feel that my experience has equipped me with the skills to understand this unique challenge and how to guide patients and their families through this emotional journey"
