The Princess of Wales, also known as Kate Middleton, has disclosed a cancer diagnosis. Earlier this year it was revealed she underwent a “planned abdominal surgery” originally thinking the condition was non-cancerous. However further tests found cancer to be present. She started chemotherapy in February. A spokesperson for the Royal family stated, “The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team. She is in good spirits and is focused on making a full recovery”

In a video message posted today, while addressing her royal duties, Princess Kate said, “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able — but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.”
