Richard Linton, President of Kansas State University, announced today that he has been diagnosed with cancer. He will require daily treatments for the next few months, but plans to continue working remotely. Senior vice president and chief of staff Dr. Marshall Stewart will step in to represent K-State at events and meetings in Linton's absence.
"I need to be at my best for this institution — you deserve that from me, and in consultation with my medical team, I also know this is what is best for me and my family"
