Shirah Matsuzawa - August 2023
Despite not feeling ready, filmmaker Greg Green hustled to shoot a film in October and November of 2019. Five days after they wrapped filming he was diagnosed with cancer. "If we would not have moved that date up, the film never would have happened,” Green said.
Green underwent surgery to remove one of his kidneys and then started a process of chemotherapy. "During the chemo process, I was able to edit the film and, you know, the chemo wasn't that bad. Frankly, I was able to function and do my job and edit." The finished film debuted last week.
