Georgie Johnston landed her dream job as a nurse after years of studying and volunteering. A few months later she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, requiring chemotherapy and a mastectomy. Because she had been working for less than a year, she was unable to claim full sick pay. 

"I’d love to still be able to work but I just can’t with the treatment, but I’m already excited to go back. I’m feeling optimistic."
