Harvard Business Review posted an article titled Better Ways to Support a Colleague with Breast Cancer which featured data from Cancer and Careers’ 2022 Harris Poll. The article included that 77% of workers with a cancer diagnosis disclosed to their managers while 63% disclosed to their coworkers, and 21% said they encountered insensitive or offensive comments regarding their cancer diagnosis.
