Mark Smith - October 2022
Rhian Moore was two-years in remission for melanoma when she felt a lump under her arm, which was biopsied by her doctor. A few days later, she was presenting to a few hundred people over Zoom when her wi-fi cut out. While moving location in an attempt to get a better signal, her doctor called and told her she had stage three melanoma that had spread to her lymph nodes. "I felt faint, sick, and knew I had to keep writing down what he was telling me so I could make sense of it later...Thankfully I was with some amazing colleagues that day...They comforted me and helped me come to terms with the news."
