'Jeopardy!' host, Alex Trebek, announced publicly to his fans and the rest of the world that he has been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Despite this news, he also shared that he intends to keep working.

Trebek made the announcement on March 6th, letting his fans know he was keeping with his long-standing policy of being 'open and transparent'. While it's known that the prognosis for this diagnosis is "not very encouraging", Trebek tells fans, "I'm going to fight this, and I'm going to keep working."
