Louise Gannon - August 2017
Ronnie Wood, guitarist for the Rolling Stones, revealed in a recent interview he had a "fight with a touch of lung cancer" three months ago. While getting a check-up for an upcoming Stones tour, Wood said his doctor found a cancerous lesion in his left lung. Tests were done to see if it had spread to his lymph nodes and luckily, it had not.
Woods went in for surgery right away, and since the cancer had not spread, he was given the all clear. Woods tweeted out a link to the interview he did with the Daily Mail and added, "I'm feeling great and ready to see you on the road next month."
