Victoria L. Cann - March 2017
Roberta Lynch is no stranger to a challenge. Having been diagnosed with multiple forms of cancer numerous times, she has learned to hold close what is important to her and follow the path she believes is meant for her. This has led her to gratifying work as secretary to Lewis County Circuit Court Judge, Kurt Hall.
After an initial diagnosis of colon cancer and subsequent surgery, doctors discovered a benign brain cancer, and then metastasis in her liver. Many chemo treatments and long periods of time away from her family, while being treated at John's Hopkins, Lynch reports she's just happy she's making it to her 50th birthday and has secured a good job that she feels passionately about.
Judge Hall states, "Everything that comes with the job can be learned...being a cancer survivors, especially everything Lynch has been through, builds character."
