Tim Quinn is a celebrity makeup artist and testicular cancer survivor. Though extremely weak upon arriving at Mass General in 2007, Quinn turned to his love of makeup to help him stay positive and to even help lift the spirits of other patients at the hospital. He brought his tools and treated his hospital room as a new makeup studio.

"I had to step out of my life for a year, so setting up my little shop at Mass General took me out of my head, and I saw what it did for other patients", Quinn recalls. 

In remission for nearly eight years, Quinn is an active advocate for a number of cancer organizations, and even returns to Mass General to host their annual Nurses' Appreciation Day.
