Barbara Jordan - June 2016
Retired scaffolder and father of three, Tom Whitfield, was devastated upon learning of his cancer diagnosis last year. He had major surgery in March of last year and took a year off of running to recuperate. "I'd advise anyone diagnosed with cancer to think positive" Whitfield recommends. After running his most recent marathon with his daughter and granddaughter, at age 69, Whitfield has now clocked 94 half marathons and 16 full marathons!
