Lindsay Greeff, a social worker who was diagnosed with cancer and has since recovered, is now a manager of Oncology Social Work Services at GVI Oncology and co-founder of People Living with Cancer. At 32, Greeff was a social worker with a special focus on cancer care, this experience did not, however, prepare her for her own cancer diagnosis.

She recalls the overwhelming sense of fear of what may happen, particularly who would care for her two young children if she passed away. Since going into remission, Greeff has dedicated her life to helping South Africans access the cancer care they so desperately need, using her own experience to guide her.
