Monroe County District Attorney, Sandra Doorley, has started treatment for multiple myeloma. Doctors have stated the treatment have the potential to cause a wide range of problems including bone and muscle pain of problems with the kidneys. Despite this, Doorley intends to continue to fulfill her duties as District Attorney.

Though there's no doubt that Doorley has a fight ahead of her, she has proven herself to be quite the fighter. As the lead prosecutor on many high profile cases, Doorley does not shy away from difficult situations. Her doctor states "I follow many patients that have no disruptions to their normal school or work life during this treatment" and Doorley is planning to go by those words.
