Brendon Egan - April 2016
Though originally suspecting epilepsy, golfer Sam Purdon found out he had brain cancer. The 26-year old has been put on an intensive six-week chemotherapy and radiation treatment but vows to beat the disease and play golf again.
Despite an already uphill battle with two brain surgeries, Purdon refuses to get down and states "the mind is such a positive thing. Being positive is one of the best ways to beat it. If i can get through two major brain surgeries, then I can get through the next six weeks of treatment."
