Though many know Tiffany Krumins, for her appearance on and subsequent investment from the show Shark Tank, many don't know that just a few months following her appearance and success on the show she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Ambitious and hardworking as ever, she did not let this stop her company's momentum. While undergoing radiation treatment, the CEO and founder of the Ava the Elephant Brand continued working eight-12 hour days.
Krumins, a former nanny from Atlanta, managed to strike a deal with Barbara Corcoran in the pilot episode of Shark Tank in August 2009 which sent her sales skyrocketing. So, understandably Krumins refuses to let anything get in the way of her success, including a cancer diagnosis.
