At just 9 years old, dancer Gabi Shull was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer that eats tissue and bone. After undergoing numerous chemo treatments, Gabi's doctors performed a radical surgery known as a rotationplasty, amputating part of Gabi's leg and using her healthy ankle to replace her knee. Yet, she refused to stop dancing
The operation is extremely unique and as Gabi puts it, "not for everyone, but it was for me."
