Just one year ago, Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry, in the middle of chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin's lymphoma, remained unsure of his NFL future. However, since that time Berry has plaid a full 16-game season, made one playoff appearance, and completed 61 tackles and two interceptions! Thanks to this incredible recovery, Berry was named the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year.
Upon being diagnosed in December of 2014, Berry immediately began treatment at Emory University. Working out during those treatments helped keep him motivated and he was declared cancer free the summer of 2015. "I knew I'd be here, but I feel like I'm dreaming" Berry mused.
