Smith & Nephew Plc, Europe's biggest maker of artificial hips and knees said on Monday that it's Chief Execute Olivier Bohuon has been diagnosed with a highly treatable form of cancer. In a statement released by the company, it was confirmed that Bohuon will continue in his role as CEO during treatment.
During the chemotherapy treatment period, beginning later this month, the board has approved provisional governance procedures, including executive oversight if needed.
