Kim DeMeo, an English teacher at West Orange Liberty Middle School, returned to work in September following a year leave of absence in which she had underwent multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy. The school community of fellow teachers, administrators, and students recently participated in a powderpuff football game to raise funds for Susan G. Komen Foundation in her honor.

The powderpuff game was a fun day for all and DeMeo was thrilled to be back, as she states "I am so happy to be back at work with my LMS family. Their love and support is definitely what got me through such a terrible year"
