Andrew Ross Sorkin - December 2016
Visionary leader of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, has announced his plan to step down as chief executive next year and will be handing over management to his personally selected successor, Kevin Johnson. Johnson, a skin cancer survivor, is a longtime Starbucks board member and close personal friend to Schultz.
Johnson explains that his decision to work at Starbucks was a result of rethinking of his career after his cancer experience, "It made me think, I only want to spend time on things on which I am able to give something to people I love."
