Andrew Pineda, or E-REK as he is known to his fans, is a rap artist and a member of the U.S. Air Force. Last August he was diagnosed with Lymphoma — just a few weeks after being relocated from Mississippi to the base on the Central Coast of California.

Despite his diagnosis and enduring chemotherapy treatment, he has recently released his newest EP titled Side Effects. Creating an album has always been a lifelong dream of his and was also a way to turn his frustrations during treatment into a project.
