KOMO News shared the story of Robert Hasse, a successful public speaker, who was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2013 and lost half of his tongue to save his life. Hasse's doctors used tissue from his forearm to rebuild his tongue and now, 18 months post-surgery, he has regained his speaking ability. He has returned to public speaking full-time and travels nationally.
