The Shakopee Valley News recently reported that Chaska police chief Scott Knight is now cancer-free and returning to work. The article discusses Knight's cancer journey, touching on how it impacted his career. He went back to work at the Chaska Police Department part-time in January and is working up to a full-time return this May. 

"Knight said the department operated well in his absence. 'Since I became chief, my whole thing was to make sure that that department was set up to operate and do the right thing regardless of who’s there and who isn’t, but especially me.'
Knight’s confidence in his staff made it easier to be away for an extended length of time. Still, he was happy to return to work. 'I found it invigorating to be back in the game,' he said.
