USA Today recently shared an inspiring story about two NFL football players who battled cancer. The two discussed the similarities in their cancer experiences, and how teammates and fans helped them get through it. The article also touches on how both men shared their diagnoses publicly, which is a personal decision, but one that was tough for both of them: 

"Accepting the large amounts of attention — even from fans and strangers with the best of intentions — was hard for both men, who said at first they wanted to fight their illnesses in private. But they both said that they quickly found strength in the prayers, well-wishes and support from strangers around the world as well as their families."
