The Shepton Mallet Journal shared the story of a local baker and cancer survivor, Timmy Ashfield, who worked through his cancer treatment. He did have to take 6 weeks off after surgery and was thrilled to return to work afterwards: "'I love it,' he said. 'It’s really good to be back. It’s better than doing nothing all the time. My colleagues have been really good to me and it’s great to be back in normality. It’s all going really well.'"
