The Fay Observer reported on South View football coach Randy Ledford, who is back at work after having a cancerous kidney removed. The surgery was successful and Ledford is back to working every day, "...Ledford has returned to work at South View where he checks in each afternoon to see how his football players are doing with off season weight conditioning. This past weekend, he traveled to Greensboro for the annual gathering of the state's high school football coaches."
