Closer Weekly reported that TV Host Marc Summers recently revealed that he has been battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia and undergoing chemotherapy for the past 5 years. Summers said that he did not share this news publicly until now because he was worried that it would have a negative impact on his career. Summers explains that he no longer wanted to keep his diagnosis a secret: 

"'I've sort of compressed this thing and it's made me nuts. I thought it was time to come out. I'm not covering up anymore — I've had it, I'm in remission and... I'm ready to move on,' he said before adding his doctors confirmed he was cancer-free in December 2014."
