Richard Blackledge - December 2015
Sheffield Member of Parliament, Harry Harpham, is undergoing treatment for cancer after being diagnosed two months ago. While he has not disclosed the cancer type, he is on course for chemotherapy. Despite being in treatment, he stated that he will still be functioning properly as an MP.
Though Harpham has shared his diagnosis and treatment plan, he remains steadfast that he will continue to work to the best of his ability and plans to meet all of his commitments. Not to detract from his role as MP, Harpham states "I don't want to make a big song and dance about it."
