Linda Dughetti, senior manager of Accenture Operations, blogged for the Huffington Post on her experience working through a cancer diagnosis. While on the brink of an exciting relocation opportunity, she was diagnosed with Mesothelioma. In her blog, Dughetti discusses reaching out to her manager for support, working with her employer to manage her benefits to take a year off work and winning an award for representing her company's core value of "one global network". 

"I always put a lot of passion, interest and energy in the work and brought those same qualities to fighting the cancer."
