Dayna Christion, a 25-year-old from Warwick, New York was diagnosed with Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin's lymphoma when she was 22. After undergoing chemotherapy, two stem cell transplants and now a clinical trial, she has been modeling for Major Models, a global modeling agency. She has appeared in ads for companies like Urban Outfitters and walked in six shows. Now she is hoping to inspire other cancer survivors with her modeling career.
“I feel like everyone, at some point, has obstacles that they’re trying to overcome, it’s just a part of life,” she said. “There’s always going to be something pushing you back. It’s how you decide to react to those obstacles and how you push through them that makes you achieve the things that you really want to get out of life.”
