Former Grateful Dead bassist, Phil Lesh, has revealed he is battling bladder cancer but says he expects to be back to work soon. Lesh informed his fans and followers on Facebook of his diagnosis and treatment when he was forced to cancel two shows in the coming weekend. 

Lesh, a survivor of prostate cancer back in 2006, said he plans to return to "normal activities" within two weeks.
