NPR recently spoke with author Henning Mankel about his cancer diagnosis and how it has impacted his life and work. Mankel is the author of the best-selling mystery series about fictional policeman Kurt Wallander. Mankel was diagnosed with cancer last January and since then he has been blogging about his cancer experience. He currently only has one small tumor left in his lung and is continuing to work on a new novel.
