Business Insider shared the inspiring story of Drew Olanoff, 34, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 29 and recently found out that the cancer returned. He is a well-known tech publicist and had recently started a new job and got engaged. Despite the new diagnosis, he is staying positive and using his experience to raise awareness for the bone marrow registry.
The article explains "For Olanoff and his soon-to-be bride, it's been a wild few months of accomplishments in both work and life — but that's all been interrupted by cancer" and goes on to say that both of their employers offered to provide help in any way that they could. Having support in your workplace is incredibly important and makes the cancer journey easier for many survivors.
