The Irish Examiner reported that Finance Minister Michael Noonan said that he is having a good recovery from cancer and plans to run again in the general election, barring another health setback. Noonan was diagnosed with a sarcoma on his arm in February and underwent surgery and radiotherapy. The next general election is scheduled for spring 2016, and Noonan says that, unless his health declines, he plans to run again.
