The Spokesman Review published an uplifting article about football coach Jeff Hinz who will be coaching a game on Friday night after his battle with cancer. Hinz said that his cancer experience changed his perspective on life, including work, and that he is thankful every day to be able to work and coach. Hinz explained this change in his outlook, saying "'I’m going on my 20th year of teaching and I felt like how you might get in your career and everything in life that ‘I have to go to work today, I have to do this or that,’ Hinz said. 'After I got diagnosed (with cancer) you put things in perspective.'" Many patients and survivors notice a change in their outlook and mindset after a cancer experience.
