The New York Times recently wrote an article about Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Robi Draco Rosa and how his battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma has impacted his work. First diagnosed in 2011, he was declared in remission in 2012 but found out last fall that the cancer returned. His album "Vida" ("Life") was released in 2012 after he was told he was in remission, and he followed it with an upbeat tour. Draco Rosa sees his cancer struggle as just another challenge in a career that has had a number of ups and downs. For many patients and survivors, cancer has a significant impact on how they view and approach their work.
