A recent article by HuffPost sportswriter Ron Dicker tells how the 27-year-old pugilist, who has already made good on his promise to “beat his cancer so he could fight in front of his hometown borough,” is now returning to Brooklyn to take on Australian Jarrod Fletcher for the world title. Despite the inherent dangers of his chosen profession, Jacobs is determined to move up the ranks. In fact, he credits the sport itself as being the prime motivator.
