The Beaumont Enterprise recently wrote an uplifting article about 70-year-old Nancy Templain who was diagnosed with breast cancer in October and recently graduated Lamar with a Masters in nursing. Templain said she is now job searching. She discussed her experience going through school and chemo at the same time: "Templain said she would give herself a pep talk on the days she didn't want to get up because she felt queasy from the chemo. 'I have to get up, I have to work today,' she would tell herself."
