The Guardian published a fantastic article about how employers need to be ready to support employees with cancer as the number of survivors continues to grow. It says companies need to establish policies and practices that will ensure that workers with cancer are treated fairly. The article goes on to describe legal rights in the workplace (in the UK) for survivors and training that should be offered to human resources staff so that they have the tools necessary to support survivors at work.
