J.P. Morgan Co. Chairman and Chief Executive James Dimon went public about his throat cancer diagnosis earlier this year. A recent article from The Wall Street Journal provides an update on how he has been managing treatment, side effects and his busy work schedule.
Dimon spoke in an International Finance panel at a conference in Washington on Friday; this was his first public appearance since announcing his diagnosis. He has finished about eight weeks of treatment and is now easing back into his regular travel and client meeting schedules. Dimon is still under the close watch of doctors and may have to undergo more treatments or experience more side effects.
