Cancer can often be inspiration for career change, as was the case for Marilyn Bryant, reports the Pensacola News Journal. Bryant's breast cancer journey led to a career change for her, and inspired her to volunteer to raise breast cancer awareness.
The article explains that Bryant hit a low point after her surgery, and that was when she decided to make some changes in her life: "From that moment on, Bryant began remodeling not only her breasts through reconstructive surgery, but also her life through a career change and new drive to help others by volunteering for breast cancer awareness. Today, Bryant helps others facing end of life decisions as the executive director of Emerald Coast Hospice."
