Lorraine Ash - October 2014
The Daily Record writes about Theresa Rowland, a yoga teacher who is battling ovarian cancer and is continuing with her yoga practice even as she gets ready for chemotherapy. She is taking time off from teaching but hopes to be able to return.
"Some effects of chemo make it difficult for Rowland to work: Her mind won't be clear. Her gastrointestinal system will become upset. Neuropathy in her hands and feet can make some poses difficult to hold."
Information on managing treatment side effects at work can be found here.
