Working remotely and long term disability.

If you're receiving long term disability from a job, can you work remotely from home with another job? I'm a teacher and can't make that hour drive to work and another hour to receive treatment, so I get long term disability. But I need the extra income and want to work from home part-time. Is that possible without losing my long term disability?

Unfortunately I can't say for sure what would and would not be acceptable as I believe it is based on the specificaions of your long-term disability policy. I'd get in touch with the policy provider to make sure you understand the parameters of your plan.
