Hello. I attended the teleconference last night (July 20) and I found it to be very informative and helpful. I do have a question for you that I was a bit uncomfortable asking over the phone:
I have a history of Depression and Anxiety, so my work history has many gaps. I applied once to a local disability work program a while back before my cancer diagnosis. I was wondering if I should just reapply because I'm afraid that the cancer and the treatments are just one more thing to add to my problem finding work?
Thank you.

Hi Megan,
I appreciate your apprehension about asking your question on te teleconference.
I think that applying for your local disability program is a good idea. It is great to keep all your options open. I do not know how many gaps you have on your resume, however it is true that potential employers will ask about them and if you are not willing or prepared to respond, this can be challenging.
Take care,
Julie
