Dear Rebecca:

I just posted my resume on the website.  Thank you so much for reviewing my resume and I was hoping that youall can review my cover letter as well.

I am 63 and have been out of work for tow years. I took early retirement and then learned I had cancer and now am on SS Disability, I was diagnosed with stage IV Ovarian Cancer in July, 2013.

I have completed 5 months of chemo  and have had two surgeries. I feel good and my doctors say I can return to work although I will have monthly follow ups.

My question is, can't I just bridge the work gaps by saying I retired and want to return to work because of the economy?
