Hi Katia,
Thanks for reaching out, I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time with your job search, it can be a challenging process. Hopefully some of the tools and resources that we offer will be of help. Unfortunately we don't have local career coaches, this service is done on a volunteer basis to answer certain questions that you have about your job search.
We actually have a free Job Search webinar this Wednesday at 1pm ET, you can learn more and register here: http://www.cancerandcareers.org/en/community/events/webinar-jobsearch
Here are some resources that address the questions you asked above that I think will be of help:
- Webinar recording on How to Build an Effective LinkedIn Profile (walks you through it step-by-step): http://www.cancerandcareers.org/en/community/videos/BWC-2015/linkedin
- Cancer and Careers' Guide to LinkedIn: http://www.cancerandcareers.org/en/looking-for-work/guide-to-linkedin
- Job Search Tools: http://www.cancerandcareers.org/en/looking-for-work/job-search-tools
If you have more specific questions please feel free to write back.
Best,
Sarah, Manager of Programs, Cancer and Careers
