Hello, I will be graduating in August with a Human Biology degree. The only medical experiences I have are volunteering at Mother Teresa House (kind of like Hospice) and doing clinical rounds when I went through an EMT program. However, I do have a lot of job, volunteer, and personal experience with children throughout my life.
My question is: are there any job opportunities for me in a pediatric oncology environment at this point in my life?

Hi Samantha,
Our resources are actually for cancer patients and survivors, helping them get back to work after a diagnosis. We work closely with oncology nurses and social workers as they are often the ones helping guide their patients through this process, so I would recommend checking out the Oncology Nursing Society (https://www.ons.org/) and National Association of Social Workers (https://www.socialworkers.org/). I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but we don't do much work with pediatric oncology as issues around work and cancer aren't as relevant, so unfortunately I'm not aware of any other resources to point you towards.
Best,
Sarah, Manager of Programs, Cancer and Careers
