I am searching for a teaching position in elementary school. Any suggestions for good education/job sites I can utilize? I have been subbing in one of the districts I want to work in, I earned my certification, and I did my student teaching in the district I sub in. I also live in the district I sub in. I am already working on meeting the principals of the schools I applied at to make me stand out. I also came up with a newsletter to leave with the principal so they remember me. I am also having a professional help me out with my resume to help me stand out. I have a linked in account as well. So any other suggestions would be awesome! Thanks.

Dear Kyle - You're doing a terrific job already. I'm scratching my head wondering what else you can do. I don't know of specific educational sites but you can probably google that or use the National Association for ideas. This is mostly useful, though, if you're willing to relocate. Given how thorough and sophisticated you've been in approaching this (I love that you used a professional resume writer and are meeting principals personally), I imagine you've done all you can do other than to keep doing it. Talk to anyone you know who knows people and keep making the personal connections. It will happen eventually. Warmly, Rosalind
